One source-linked history for request, response, and appeal
Run every FOIA request from one traceable desk
Track requests, agency messages, dates, productions, appeals, and provenance without submitting anything.
Limited availability. The full workflow is still in development.
A small interface for one hard piece of legal work.
Public-records work often spans agency portals, receipts, fee notices, referrals, rolling productions, exemption letters, and appeals. The proposed desk keeps that history traceable while leaving request scope, legal analysis, submissions, and strategy with the user.
Demonstration data only. No document is uploaded.
- STATUS • Acknowledgment and referral history aligned
- PRODUCTION • One promised tranche remains unresolved
- PROVENANCE • Source, receipt, and file hash recorded
Rolling productions and unresolved follow-ups reconciled
Dates, exemptions, and strategy reserved for human review
Simple enough to inspect. Structured enough for an agent.

Will Wax Beacon write or submit a records request?
No. The preview organizes synthetic user-authored records. It does not choose an agency, define scope, submit a request, or verify receipt.
Will it calculate a binding response or appeal deadline?
No. It may show candidate dates from synthetic events and sources, but users must verify current law, agency rules, facts, and event type.
Will it decide whether an exemption is valid?
No. It can track an agency's stated exemption without providing legal analysis, drafting an appeal, or recommending strategy.
